New Delhi: The upgraded and futuristic Terminal 2 at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi is set to become operational from October 26, 2025. Terminal 2 will have a host of passenger-friendly facilities. The terminal shall have a number of modern facilities such as: GMR AERO-led Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), which manages and operates India's busiest Delhi airport, announced that the upgraded Terminal 2 at IGI Airport is set to become operational from October 26, coinciding with the beginning of the winter schedule. The upgraded T2 is designed to delight travelers and provide them with a seamless travel experience. The terminal, built by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) 40 years ago, was temporarily closed to carry out the upgrade work in April, when state-of-the-art Terminal 1 became fully operational. From the intervening night of October 25-26, 2025, approximately 120 daily domestic flights operated by Air India and Indigo are set to shift operations to the upgraded Terminal 2.
