Chennai: As many as 90,832 cases, including pending and pre-litigation cases, were disposed of, in the National Lok Adalat held in the state on Saturday. This follows a direction from Madras HC Chief Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava and HC judge Justice M Sundar to all legal service institutions across the state to hold National Lok Adalat. A total of 501 benches in the district legal services authorities and taluk legal services committees were constituted across the state.
