Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate police have formed multiple teams to trace a 25-year-old female traffic constable who has been missing for a week.Subhamitra Sahoo, assigned to the DCP (traffic) office, was last seen on Sept 6. Her mother, Sukanti Sahoo, filed a missing person's report at Capital police station the following day.Concerned for her safety, the family met police commissioner S Dev Datta Singh on Friday, urging a swift investigation. "As each day passes without any word from her, our worry grows. We have appealed to the police commissioner and other senior officers to assist in finding my daughter at the earliest," Sukanti said.Police sources said Subhamitra left her mobile phone at her rented home in Surya Nagar. Investigators are analysing the call detail records (CDR) and social media chats for potential leads. On the day of her disappearance, she reported for duty at 10 am, with her shift concluding at 7 pm. However, she did not return home."We are making every effort to locate her.
