A 25-year-old biker died after being struck by a BEST bus in Govandi, Mumbai. This marks the third deadly accident involving BEST buses within just one week. The victim has been identified as Vindo Dikshit who was travelling on a bike suffered a head injury after the bus collided with him near the Shivaji Nagar junction. Taken to hospital Soon after the accident, a large number of people gathered at the site of accident and rushed to Rajawadi Hospital. Dikshit was declared dead before the admission. As per a report by the Times of India, The bus was bound for Kurla from Shivaji Nagar. It dashed with Dikshit's motorcycle near the highway but stop. The bike was hit with rear-right tire of the bus which lead to his death due to grievous injury. Third incident within a week This makes it the third such incident by BEST buses. On December 9, at around 9 pm a bus en routed from Kurla station to Andheri, lost control colliding with multiple vehicles and pedestrians on its way killing 7 and injuring around 50 people.
