Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) [India], July 20 (ANI): BJP's Andhra Pradesh spokesperson Sadineni Yamini Sharma on Sunday welcomed the arrest of YSRCP MP PV Midhun Reddy by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in connection with the alleged 3,200 crore liquor scam. Sharma stated that the arrest demonstrates the accountability, transparency, and commitment of the current government. She accused Midhun Reddy of manipulating the state's liquor policy, altering the automatic order placement system, and collecting kickbacks. He allegedly funneled funds through shell companies, amassing huge sums of money. Speaking to ANI, Yamini Sharma said, 'On behalf of the BJP, I welcome the arrest of YSRCP MP PV Midhun Reddy by the SIT in the biggest-ever liquor scam in the country, where he got involved and manipulated excise policy. He also altered the automatic order placement system in liquor. As we all know, he collected kickbacks and funnelled funds through shell companies.'
