NIZAMABAD: Hyderabad will soon gain a new daily express train linking Kacheguda station to Jodhpur (Bhagat Ki Kothi). The train will pass through Nizamabad railway station. Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, joined by Union coal minister G. Kishan Reddy, will formally flag off the service in Hyderabad at 5.30 pm today. The train (no.17065) will start at 11.50 pm in Kacheguda railway station and will pass through Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Akola, Itarsi, Ujjaini, Ajmer and reach Bhagat ki Kothi in Jodhpur. According to South Central Railway, the Hyderabad (Kacheguda)-Jodhpur (Bhagat Ki Kothi) -Hyderabad (Kacheguda) Express addresses a long-standing demand from the sizeable Rajasthani community in Telangana, particularly Hyderabad. The train offers a fast, safe and comfortable journey through key stations in Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, including Nanded, Washim, Ujjain, Ratlam, Neemuch, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Ajmer and Pali Marwar. Serving both reserved and unreserved passengers, the new service will benefit people from central and north-western states residing in and around Hyderabad. It is expected to boost business, educational and leisure travel, promote tourism and pilgrimage, and open additional avenues for trade and commerce. Despite, Kacheguda to Ramagundam, Mancherial route, the SCR officials will run the train through Nizamabad and Nanded routes. The 22 bogie train includes sleeper, 3AC, 2 AC, general, luggage and coaches for differently abled people. LHB model bogies will be set for the Kacheguda-Jodhpur train.
