Pilibhit, July 17 (UNI) Tiger panic continues in the Neuria police station area of Pilibhit when it critically injured a woman this morning. This was the second attack by the tiger this week after a farmer, Dayaram of Phulhar village, was killed on Monday last. On Thursday morning at 6 AM, when a woman named Meena (50), a resident of Sahajania village, was going to her agriculture field, she was attacked by a tiger and which pulled her 20 meters inside a sugarcane farm. After the victim raised the alarm, villagers rushed to the spot. Meena was critically injured and was admitted to the hospital in critical condition. The villagers also made a video of the tiger roaming the fields and the road. There is anger among the villagers over the functioning of the forest department due to the tiger attack. The villagers are demanding that they should make strong security arrangements by taking the increasing movement of the tiger seriously. The forest department teams are trying to catch the tiger. Elephants are also being used, but the tiger is constantly dodging. According to reports, 6 people have lost their lives due to tiger attacks in the district within two months. Three days ago, the tiger attacked and killed Dayaram, a resident of Phulhar village in Neuria police station area. Earlier, the farmer of Mewatpur died due to a tiger attack. There is panic in the area due to not going to catch the tiger, and the villagers are imprisoned in their homes.
