Bhubaneswar: The Crime Branch of Odisha Police stepped up its investigation into the death of Fakir Mohan Autonomous College student Soumyashree Bisi on Thursday as its team questioned a key eyewitness in the case. Sources said a two-member team of the Crime Branch visited the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack and interrogated a key eyewitness currently undergoing treatment there. The team members reportedly visited the Plastic Surgery Department of the hospital and interrogated key eyewitness Jyotiprakash Biswal, who is currently undergoing treatment in the Burn Unit. The CB officials reportedly questioned Jyotiprakash about the sequence of events that led to the tragic incident, including how the victim's body caught fire.
