Mumbai Rains LIVE: With the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing a red and orange alerts in some districts of Maharashtra, Indigo and SpiceJet airlines have released advisories for passengers. Regions like Mumbai, Pune, Thane have been affected by heavy downpour, causing flight disruptions. Both the airlines took to the social media platform X (formerly twitter) to inform about the disruptions and issue advisories. Indigo Travel Advisory: "There's a heavy downpour over Mumbai at the moment, causing some temporary disruption to flight schedules. If you are travelling today, please be aware of potential delays and allow additional time for your journey, especially with traffic moving slower than usual," Indigo wrote in their tweet. They also added that passengers can check their flight statuses on the Indigo app or their website, and leave accordingly. SpiceJet Airlines, in their post, said "Due to bad weather (heavy rains) in Mumbai (BOM), all departures/arrivals and their consequential flights may be affected."
