Alirajpur (Madhya Pradesh): A video has come out showing a speeding SUV driven by Conress MLA's son hitting two policemen in Madhya Pradesh's Alirajpur district. The incident happened late Saturday night but came to light after the CCTV footage was shared on social media on Monday. Check out CCTV footage below : According to information the SUV was allegedly driven by Pushpraj Patel, son of Congress MLA Sena Patel from Jobat. Police said the vehicle had no number plate and was moving at high speed near the Alirajpur bus stand. Two constables were standing near a police jeep on patrol duty when the SUV suddenly came towards them. The video shows them jumping aside to save themselves, but both got hurt. One constable was hit directly by the vehicle. Alirajpur Superintendent of Police Rajesh Vyas said that a case has been registered against Pushpraj under section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which deals with attempt to murder. He added that the matter is being taken seriously, and legal action will follow as per the law. Both injured constables are currently being treated at the Alirajpur district hospital. Their condition is said to be stable. Police said that further action will be taken after a full investigation, and efforts are on to collect more evidence related to the incident.
