Jammu and Kashmir Road Accident: 5 Dead, 12 Injured in Doda District - Times Bull

New Delhi: A major road accident took place in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir, on Tuesday. 5 people lost their lives when a minibus fell into a deep gorge, while 12 other passengers were badly injured. The child remains very critical. As soon as the information of the tragic accident was received, the administration and local people reached the spot, where relief and rescue work were started. The reason for the minibus falling is said to be that it went out of control at a turn. The injured have been rushed to the hospital for treatment, where the condition of some of them is looking very bad. Seeing the critical condition of the child, he has been referred to the Government Medical College. 11 are being treated in the local hospital itself. This tragic accident took place ithe nthe Ponda area of Doda. As soon as the information of the road accident was received, the police team reached the spot and, with the help of the local people, the people trapped below were rescued and taken out. The injured have been sent to the local hospital. The minibus has been reported to have slipped and fallen. The deceased have also been identified. Officials are investigating the cause of the accident. The deceased have been identified as Mohammad Ashraf, Mangat Wani, Atha Mohammad, Tariq Hussain, and Rafiqa Begum. Apart from these, the injured have been identified as Mohammad Rafi, Hakeem, Ghulam Mohammad, Abdul Karim, Mohammad Rashid, Mujeeb ul Rehman, Sahil Farooq, Saima Bano, Shama Begum, Shamila Beg, Uzma, Aliza Bano, Aqib Hussain, Abdul Qayum, Shukar Din and Kulsuma.
