Pune: An eleven-month baby boy died after being accidentally struck with a trishul (trident) during a heated argument between a couple. The incident took place in the Kedgaon area of Daund taluka, Pune district. According to preliminary information, the child was injured when the accused woman, in a fit of rage during an argument with her husband, allegedly hurled a trishul at him. However, the weapon struck the infant, who was being held by a relative nearby. The severely injured child was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
