Vadodara: Just a day after the Gambhira bridge collapse, another bridge over the Mahi River -- connecting Udalpur in Panchmahal district to Sevaliya in Kheda district -- was closed for traffic on Thursday evening.Authorities issued a notification stating that the bridge would remain shut for at least two months due to necessary repairs. Traffic has been diverted to the Indore-Ahmedabad national highway in the meantime.The decision to close the bridge followed the discovery of faults in the expansion joints and bearings.
