Bhubaneswar: Excise officials intercepted an SUV carrying 110 kg of silver and detained two men near Jhuripada in Sambalpur's Rengali on Thursday. The SUV from Maharashtra was heading towards Ranchi when it was intercepted. The two accused could not produce a receipt for the silver. The seized silver included 700 silver biscuits and 1400 silver coins. The two accused have been identified as Chandrakanta Somabhai Patel (53) from Gujrat and Sanjay Patel (51) from Maharashtra.
