New Delhi: A nationwide strike has been called on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, by a joint platform of 10 central trade unions along with farmers' and rural workers' organisations. According to the reports, over 25 crore workers - from sectors ranging from banking and insurance to postal services to coal mining - are expected to participate in the bandh.
