Lucknow: BSP president Mayawati said Basic Education Council's decision to close or merge primary schools with fewer students is an injustice against the system of providing easy and cheap education to crores of poor children near their homes."It clearly appears unfair, unnecessary, and anti-poor at first glance itself," she added, appealing to the govt to immediately withdraw it in the interest of poor students.
