A video of a young man carrying a massive crocodile on his shoulders in Uttar Pradesh's Hamirpur district has gained significant attention online. It left viewers amazed at his courage and strength as he carried the terrifying predator. According to reports, the crocodile was 20 feet long and weighed 150 kg. The man carried the enormous reptile to the Yamuna River where it was released safely. The brave act has drawn praise from viewers who admired his courage in handling such a dangerous animal. In the footage, which was shared on X, the crocodile is seen tied up and resting on the man's shoulders as he carries it. According to the reports, the reptile had been spotted in a pond in Puthiya Khurd village over a month ago and created panic in the area. Locals avoided the pond out of fear of an attack. The crocodile stayed in the pond for weeks. It left terrified villagers with no choice but to finally report the situation to the forest department for help. Upon receiving the complaint, the forest department team arrived in the village to investigate. Officials and the villagers worked together for several days to capture the crocodile. It was eventually caught after a lengthy rescue operation. The team secured the animal by tying it to ensure it could not escape or harm anyone. The man in the viral video is part of the forest department team. He was given the responsibility of transporting the crocodile to its natural habitat. The post shared two clips, one of which showed the forest official carrying the tied crocodile on his shoulders with its eyes covered. The other one showed the forest team holding it down in a trap during the rescue. The forest official safely released the crocodile into the Yamuna River. The caption accompanying the two clips reads: "The video of a young man carrying a crocodile on his shoulder is rapidly going viral on social media!! A giant crocodile had been terrorizing the village for the past three weeks!! After three weeks of close monitoring, the forest department team and experts caught the crocodile!! Viral video of Hamirpur." This isn't the first time a crocodile has caused panic in a village in Uttar Pradesh. A few months ago, a crocodile was spotted in the Lakhimpur Kheri district. This left villagers terrified but the forest department team successfully rescued the reptile and took it into their care.
