COIMBATORE: A total of 1,388 Lord Ganesh idols were immersed in various waterbodies in Coimbatore district on Friday.More than 400 idols installed by various right-wing organizations in Coimbatore city were immersed in Kurichi tank, Singanallur tank, Kuniyamuthur tank and Vellakinaru tank.
