Meghalaya registers 86.84 % success in SSLC exam, boys outperform girls

Shillong: The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) recorded an overall pass percentage of 86.84% in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination held from Jan 30 to Feb 11. Results were declared on Tuesday.Of the 48,623 candidates who appeared, 42,228 passed. Boys registered a pass percentage of 94.14%, while 92.88% of girls cleared the exams. Shillong, April 7: The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) on Tuesday declared the results of the Class 12 examinations, recording an overall pass percentage of 86.84, slightly lower than last year's 87.10 per cent, officials said. Bangladesh police constable, ex-Army man held in Meghalaya border raid case

Shillong, August 12: Meghalaya Police has taken custody of three Bangladesh nationals, including a serving police constable and a "dismissed" army personnel, who allegedly infiltrated India through South West Khasi Hills district on August 8.
