HYDERABAD: Hussaini Alam police on Sunday arrested Sahil Akber, son of a former MIM corporator, for his alleged involvement in a violent altercation during a GHMC anti-encroachment drive at Murgi Chowk on Saturday. The Hyderabad Traffic Police have issued an advisory in view of the Bonalu festivities on July 20 and 21, with diversions planned across old city, Amberpet, and Chilkalguda areas to ensure public safety and smooth movement of devotees.
