Panaji: In a positive sign, 82 percent of mothers exclusively breastfed their children for the first six months, with the same being higher in rural areas with 87.3 percent compared to urban areas with 80 percent, a study by Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim revealed.
