Guwahati: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Assam police on Friday arrested another two persons including Sekharjyoti Goswami and Amritprabha Mahanta regarding the probe related to death of singer Zubeen Garg. Guwahati: Shyamkanu Mahanta, one of the accused in the Zubeen Garg death case, filed a criminal writ petition with the Supreme Court last Tuesday, seeking the transfer of the investigation from the SIT to the CBI or the NIA and appointing a retired Supreme Court judge to oversee the probe. Guwahati (PTI): Musician Shakharjyoti Goswami and singer Amritprabha Mahanta were arrested on Thursday in connection with the death of singer Zubeen Garg, police said.
