KARUR: TVK has transferred 20 lakh each as relief to the families of the 41 people who lost their lives in the stampede during party founder Vijay's public rally at Velusamypuram in Karur on Sept 27.In a statement, the party said the relief amount has been deposited in the bank accounts of 38 families in five districts. Karur (Tamil Nadu), Oct 5 (PTI) The SIT headed by senior IPS officer Asra Garg, on Sunday conducted its probe into a stampede at TVK chief Vijay's rally here on September 27 in which 41 people died and nearly 60 were injured. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) was set up on the basis of the Madras High Court order on October 3.
