New Delhi: Sunetra Pawar, wife of late NCP leader and Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, is set to win the Baramati bypolls unopposed after the Congress withdrew its candidate on Thursday. The bypolls to the seat are set to be held on April 23. The seat fell vacant after Ajit Pawar's sudden death in a plane crash in January this year. Earlier, Congress had pitted Akash More against Sunetra Pawar. The party decided to withdraw its candidate after several requests by Nationalist Congress Party leaders, including Supriya Sule.
