Karnataka 2nd PUC Results 2026 LIVE: KSEAB to Declare Class 12 Results Today at 3 PM on karresults.nic.in - Over 7 Lakh Students Awaiting Marks Memo

Karnataka 2nd PUC Results 2026 LIVE Updates: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) will announce the 2nd PUC result 2026 today, April 9, with marks memos available for download from 3 PM onwards on the official websites -- karresults.nic.in and kseab.karnataka.gov.in. The result was initially scheduled for April 7 but was delayed due to permission requirements from the Election Commission amid the model code of conduct in the state. A press conference with the Karnataka 2nd PUC toppers list, district-wise results and overall pass percentage is scheduled for 6:15 PM. In a first, KSEAB will make the Karnataka 2nd PUC marks card 2026 available digitally through DigiLocker at 3 PM. Students can also access their 2nd PUC result 2026 via the KarnatakaOne Mobile App, WhatsApp and SMS on their registered mobile numbers. KSEAB conducted the PUC examinations from February 28 to March 17, 2026 at 1,217 centres across the state. A total of 7,10,363 students from 5,174 pre-university colleges registered for the exams -- comprising 6,46,801 first-time candidates, 50,540 repeaters and 13,022 private candidates. Stream-wise, 2,92,645 registered in Science, 2,11,174 in Commerce and 1,42,982 in Arts. This year, KSEAB has introduced a new system with three annual exams (PUC exam 1, 2 and 3). Students must take the first exam, while the subsequent two are optional opportunities to improve scores, with the best result counting toward the final grade. The evaluation follows an 80+20 model -- 80 marks for the written exam and 20 for internal assessment. The minimum pass percentage has been lowered from 35% to 30%, and students need a minimum of 30 marks in each subject with an overall aggregate of 33% (198 out of 600) to clear the exam
