New Delhi, Apr 8 (PTI) External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will on Thursday embark on a four-day visit to Mauritius and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to discuss ways to bolster bilateral ties. In the first leg of his trip, Jaishankar will travel to Mauritius to attend the 9th Indian Ocean Conference and review the entire spectrum of bilateral ties. The external affairs minister will meet the leadership of Mauritius and review the entire spectrum of bilateral ties, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Jaishankar's April 9 to 10 visit to the island nation. On the sidelines of the Indian Ocean Conference, Jaishankar is expected to hold discussions with counterparts from other participating nations, it said. "The visit underscores India's Neighbourhood First' policy, vision MAHASAGAR, and commitment to the Global South," the MEA said.
