New Delhi, Apr 8 (PTI) "Ramayana" producer Namit Malhotra says the team behind the movie values "every conversation, excitement and thoughtful feedback" and he hopes to release the movie on a grand scale in Diwali this year. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari of "Dangal" fame, the movie features Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. The recent teaser of the film sparked a debate with some praising the scale while many criticising the special effects. Malhotra, who is producing the movie and also heads the VFX company DNEG, shared an update on the film days after the teaser launch. "The response over the past few days has been truly overwhelming, inspiring, and humbling. witnessing how our Ramayana continues to touch countless hearts across the world fills me with deep gratitude and joy.
