Amaravati/Hyderabad, Apr 7 (PTI) YSRCP leaders and activists staged a protest in Hyderabad on Tuesday, expressing concern over an article published by a media house, alleging that it contained derogatory remarks against their party. YSRCP supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy condemned the remarks made by a journalist, alleging that they were "derogatory and demeaning" towards women. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu condemned the YSRCP protest, calling it an "attack on press freedom". Expressing dissent, the YSRCP leaders gathered near the media house and raised slogans, stating that the content was "inappropriate" and not in line with responsible media practices. "The YSRCP is protesting in Hyderabad, expressing concern over certain writings against the party, the content was inappropriate and not in line with responsible media practices," a party leader told reporters. The content is objectionable and reflects poorly on ethical journalism, said Jagan, adding that such content misleads the public and must be condemned.
