Kochi: In protest of Twenty20 (T20) joining the NDA fold, Poothrikka panchayat president Pooja Jomon resigned from the party's primary membership. She was speaking at a news conference in Ernakulam on Monday.Jomon, who submitted her resignation on Sunday, also alleged that T20 convener Sabu M Jacob, who launched the party in 2015, threatened her indirectly over her decision to resign from the party membership. Jomon said she was politically secular, and joining the NDA alliance would be deceiving the people who voted them to power. She alleged that ward members of T20 in the panchayat isolated her for not supporting the decision to join the NDA fold. Jomon alleged that T20 convener threatened her and referred to a former party member who had resigned and allegedly met with an accident.
