Mysore/Mysuru: A foreign passenger received timely help from Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel in Mysuru after accidentally leaving behind her belongings at Mysuru City Railway Station, highlighting the prompt response of railway staff. According to a post shared by Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Mysuru, Mudit Mittal, the incident involved Renske Roos Termenlen, a citizen of the Netherlands, who had left her guitar on Train No. 16551 MAS-AP Express (MGR Chennai Central to Ashokapuram). On receiving the information, RPF personnel acted swiftly and, with the assistance of Ashokapuram Railway Station staff, safely traced and secured the guitar. After completing the necessary verification procedures, the instrument was returned to the passenger the next day. Expressing her gratitude, the Dutch passenger commended the RPF Mysuru team for their prompt action and professionalism. "I forgot my guitar and approached the RPF. I am very happy for your help. Thank you," she said.

Patna, Jul 19 (PTI) The Bihar government on Saturday said that more than 12,000 new polling stations have been created in the state as per the recommendation of the Election Commission, as part of special intensive revision (SIR). According to a release issued by the election department, the total number of polling stations has risen to 90,712 from 77,895, after the establishment of 12,817 new ones.
