Nayagarh: In the wake of a firecracker explosion that left one dead and five persons critically injured in Korada village under Nuagaon police station limits, Nayagarh Police have intensified enforcement measures, conducting raids on firecracker warehouses across the district. Acting on the directions of the Superintendent of Police (SP), police teams carried out searches at multiple firecracker warehouses in the Itamati and Nayagarh Sadar police station areas. During the operation, firecrackers worth several lakh rupees were seized and four persons were arrested in connection with alleged illegal storage and handling.
