Srinagar, April 3, 2019 (Xinhua) A moderate-intensity earthquake of 5.9 magnitude struck the border area between Afghanistan and Tajikistan today (Friday), with tremors being felt in several parts of Jammu and Kashmir state, officials said. According to preliminary data, the earthquake occurred at 16:12:58 UTC, and its epicenter was at the coordinates: 36.52 degrees north latitude and 71.01 degrees east longitude, and at a depth of 175 kilometers.
