New Delhi, April 3: Delhi Police has registered an FIR against several social media users including @khurpench, @gemsofbabus for allegedly tampering with and circulating confidential documents linked to the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), officials confirmed on Thursday. The case, which raises serious concerns about data privacy and online misinformation, has prompted authorities to seek detailed user information from X. According to police sources, the complaint was filed last month by an FSSAI representative who flagged the circulation of manipulated official documents online. A senior officer, speaking on condition of anonymity, said, "We have been told that the documents were tampered with and circulated through multiple posts to malign the image of a senior officer.
