Hyderabad: In a first-of-its-kind initiative, a communication board designed for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) was inaugurated at KBR Park in Banjara Hills on World Autism Day. The facility was formally launched by Olympic medallist Saina Nehwal, along with Jayesh Ranjan and GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan. The board, installed by GHMC in collaboration with Avaz, Marham Resonating Resilience, CDC Talk and Learn, and Koru Kidz, features visual icons to help non-verbal children express needs and emotions.
