New Delhi, Apr 2 (PTI) Union Women and Child Development Minister Annpurna Devi on Thursday said 'SADHANA Saptah' would strengthen governance and improve grassroots service delivery. Sadhana (Strengthening Adaptive Development and Humane Aptitude for National Advancement) Saptah is one of the greatest collaborative capacity-building efforts across India's civil services ecosystem. It is being organised by the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) from April 2 to 8. The commission designs frameworks, sets standards and encourages collaboration to make governance more transparent, accountable, citizen-centric and future-ready. "SADHANA Saptah, led by the Capacity Building Commission, is a significant step towards strengthening governance through continuous capacity building, with a special focus on our frontline workers," Devi said in a post on X. The minister said anganwadi and ASHA workers play a crucial role in delivering essential services to women and children, and empowering them through Mission Karmayogi would further strengthen governance at the grassroots.
