CHENNAI: PMK president Anbumani Ramadoss, on Wednesday, questioned why the DMK's manifesto is silent on prohibition this time, despite the fact that party deputy general secretary Kanimozhi, who had promised to enforce prohibition in 2021, headed the committee that prepared the manifesto. After releasing the PMK manifesto, Anbumani said the highest number of women affected by liquor sales through Tasmac is in Tamil Nadu, and the crime rate has been going up due to liquor. Is money-making alone your government's sole objective?" he asked.
