NEW DELHI, April1: In a unique multilingual initiative to develop sports culture in India, the "Sports Alphabet Booklets" were released simultaneously in 21 languages in a first-of-its-kind event, here on Wednesday.Developed by sports researcher Dr. Kanishka Pandey under the aegis of "Sports: A Way of Life", the booklets aim to integrate sports with early education by using alphabets to introduce children to sporting concepts. The booklets have been prepared in Hindi, English, Urdu, Sanskrit, Marathi, Bangla, Khasi, Bhojpuri, Bundeli, Rajasthani, Kumaoni, Garhwali, Kashmiri, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Odia, Malayalam, Gujarati, along with two foreign languages -- Arabic and Nepali.
