Surat (Gujarat) [India], April 2 (ANI): A massive fire broke out at a thread manufacturing factory near Kim Char Rasta in Surat Rural, Gujarat, on Thursday, prompting an immediate response from the fire department. Multiple fire tenders rushed to the spot; however, no injuries have been reported so far. Speaking to ANI, Sub-Fire Officer Vijay Tandel described the situation as serious and said that teams reached the site in the early hours. "...This is a big incident. We reached the spot at around 1:15 AM, and 7-8 fire tenders are at the spot... Efforts are underway to control the fire..." Noida: Liquor revenue in the city jumped by 35% in the first quarter of 2025-26 compared to the same period last year. New Delhi: A man died after a three-storey shop building collapsed near Pul Mithai in North Delhi's Lohia Chowk area early on Friday, officials said. The shops were part of the Azad Market area.
