Rajasthan govt transfers 65 IAS officers; District Collectors of 25 districts changed

Jaipur, Apr 1 (UNI) The Rajasthan Government has effected another major administrative reshuffle - the fourth within one and a quarter months, transferring 65 officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). This fourth list of transfers, ordered late on Tuesday night, effected change in collectors in 25 of the total 41 districts, including the capital district of Jaipur. Jaipur Collector Dr Jitendra Kumar Soni has been posted in the CMO as Secretary to the Chief Minister. Besides the post of Secretary in the CMO, Dr Soni will also work as Secretary to the government for Information and Public Relations (DIPR). Soni is replaced as District Collector by Sandesh Nayak, who was presently working in the CMO as the Special Secretary to CM. Besides Jaipur, the District Collectors of Bikaner, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Sriganganagar, Sikar, Tonk and Dausa have also been changed. In the CMO, Nayak has been replaced as Special Secretary by Mukul Sharma. Riya Dabi is also posted in CMO as Officer on Special Duty(OSD). With this, almost the entire old team of high rank officers in the CMO has been re-organised in recent rounds of transfers. Among the high ranks now only Akhil Arora is the old guard leading the team as Additional Chief Secretary. Almost 175 officers in the IAS and the IPS cadres have been reshuffled in four phases of transfers within almost 40 days.

Delayed possession: MahaRERA recovers ₹200 crore from real estate developers in Maharashtra
