Gurugram News: The Haryana Government is all set to increase circles rates in Gurugram with effect from April 1, 2026. District Revenue Officer Vijay Yadav remarked that proposals received from sub-tehsils and tehsils have been uploaded on the official website of the district to allow public feedback and ensure transparency. The proposed collector rates (circle rates) for the year 2026-27 would be applicable to properties in Gurugram from April 1. Citizens of Gurugram are being encouraged to submit their suggestions by visiting the concerned tehsil office or by submitting them at the DC Office's HRA Department. Citizens are also allowed to submit their objections via email. In several prime commercial and residential areas of Gurgaon, an increase of up to 75 percent in circle rates has been proposed in terms of collector rates (circle rates) for the year 2026-27. In luxury zones such as DLF Phase-5, a hike of up to 75 percent has been proposed. Villages such as Wazirabad, Garhi Harsaru and Sikanderpur Ghosi are also likely to witness similar increases. Older commercial hubs such as Sector 14 and Sadar Bazar are also likely to witness massive circle rate hikes. This clearly suggests that circle rates in the district would be applicable not only to posh areas but also on traditional and densely populated regions in the district. Areas around the Dwarka Expressway are witnessing rapid development and an increase of 30 to 45 percent in circle rates has been proposed there. However, no changes have been proposed as of now in the circle rates of agricultural land, which means that the district's farmers would not be impacted.
