Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) felicitated its staff for their humanitarian approach while performing their duties and giving free lifetime bus pass to a child born in a bus. The TGSRTC released a release on this event which took place on Wednesday. The MD of the corporation felicitated the staff. Koteswara Rao, the driver, managed to retrieve 10 tolas of gold that was stolen in the bus. A child was born in a bus on January 2 and the corporations gave a life time pass to the child to travel in RTC buses. In another case, a passenger suffered a heart attack at Jagtial bus station. The depot manager responded quickly and performed CPR on her. TGSRTC MD V.C. Sajjanar and ICS congratulated the staff for their timely intervention and generosity. They praised the RTC employees for showing a spirit of service while safely taking the passengers to their destinations.

New Delhi: Gold prices opened sharply lower on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Friday, tracking a decline in international bullion rates. BENGALURU: Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation's (BMTC) push towards eco-friendly public transport got a major boost with the induction of 148 new non-AC electric buses on Friday. Hyderabad: Maganti Gopinath, the sitting MLA from Jubilee Hills and a prominent leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), passed away early Sunday morning, June 8.
