KUWAIT: An Indian worker was killed in an Iranian attack on a power and water desalination plant in Kuwait, the ministry of electricity, water and renewable energy announced. It said a service building at the plant was hit in a "heinous Iranian attack", resulting in the death of the Indian worker, identified as 37-year-old Santhanaselvam Krishnan from Tamil Nadu. Ministry Spokesperson Fatima Jawhar Hayat said technical and emergency teams were deployed immediately in line with approved contingency plans to contain the impact and maintain operational efficiency.
