Hyderabad, March 30: Telangana Jagruthi President K. Kavitha has written an open letter to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. In the letter, she raised concerns over GO 317 and demanded justice for affected employees and teachers. Kavitha urged the government to transfer employees to their native places as a one-time relief. She recalled that after district reorganization, employees and teachers were allocated to new districts based on seniority. Those with eight years or less service were placed in newly formed districts within erstwhile zones. She noted that the then BRS government issued GO No. 317 on 6th December, 2021, to facilitate this process. However, she said that a lack of clarity on local status has created difficulties for thousands of employees and teachers. Meanwhile, she reminded that Revanth Reddy, as PCC President, had earlier written to the then Chief Minister KCR highlighting similar issues. However, she said that the promise has not been fulfilled so far. She said that girl students in SC/ST welfare hostels and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas are not receiving basic sanitary pads.
