Pune, Mar 30 (PTI) Heavy rain and hailstorms lashed parts of Pune city on Monday, causing waterlogging and traffic disruptions, as the meteorological department warned of unseasonal showers in western Maharashtra. Showers, accompanied by gusty winds, pummeled the Aundh, Baner, Mhalunge and Balewadi areas in the afternoon, inundating several roads. The Pune meteorological department has forecast unseasonal rainfall in south-central Maharashtra and Marathwada for the next few days.
