Manipur Violence: A tense situation was witnessed on Tuesday night in the Torbung area bordering the Bishnupur and Churachandpur districts of Manipur. Tensions flared up once again in Manipur. An incident of sudden firing was reported around 8:30 PM on Tuesday in the Torbung area, which borders the Bishnupur and Churachandpur districts of the state. This occurred when heavy cross-firing erupted between security forces and armed miscreants. One person is reported to have been injured in the firing.
