In the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) showed flashes of brilliance but failed to sustain consistency throughout the season, eventually missing out on a place in the playoffs. Since then, the franchise has released a few regular starters (more on that later). As they head into the mini-auction in Abu Dhabi, LSG will be aware that to mount a serious challenge for playoff wualification - and potentially go all the way - they must target the right players at the right price.
