Lucknow Super Giants enter IPL 2026 auction with Rs... crore budget: Here's the full LSG squad

In the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) showed flashes of brilliance but failed to sustain consistency throughout the season, eventually missing out on a place in the playoffs. Since then, the franchise has released a few regular starters (more on that later). As they head into the mini-auction in Abu Dhabi, LSG will be aware that to mount a serious challenge for playoff wualification - and potentially go all the way - they must target the right players at the right price. The retention of 19 players reflects the franchise's faith in a stable, title-winning core. Armed with a purse of Rs 22.95 crore. The team can now add six more players - four from overseas and two from India - bringing their squad to the maximum size of 25. The team has retained a strong core of players ahead of the upcoming 2026 IPL season.
