5 killed, 14 injured in truck and tempo collision in Rajasthan's Jodhpur | Jodhpur News - The Times of India

JODHPUR: At least five people were killed and 14 others sustained injuries after a trailer truck and a tempo carrying devotees collided near Khari Beri village on NH-125 in Jodhpur on Saturday, officials said.The injured were taken to MDM Hospital in Jodhpur for medical care. According to Dr Vikas Kumar, Superintendent of the hospital, three individuals were brought in dead, while 14 others are currently being treated. He said that among the injured, one patient has a severe abdominal wound, another has a chest injury, one has sustained a head injury, and the remaining victims are in stable condition. Reiterating the details, he added that one person is critically ill, one has an abdominal injury, one has a chest injury, and one has a head injury, with the rest maintaining normal vitals. Speaking to reporters, Vikas Kumar said, "Later, around 7:00 a.m., we learned that a tempo and a truck collided, resulting in a fire.
