Patna: Police have intensified security measures across Bihar following a bomb explosion in the national capital with the second and final phase of the assembly elections scheduled for Tuesday. Voting will take place in 122 constituencies across 20 districts. Authorities have issued directives for rigorous checks in crowded public places, including religious sites, markets, transport hubs and other areas of high footfall.The India-Nepal border has been completely sealed till the night of Nov 11, suspending all cross-border movement of people during this period as part of the enhanced security protocol.Additional director general of police (law and order) Pankaj Darad said the state was already on high alert due to the ongoing polls.
