Chennai, Oct 28 (UNI) Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president and actor Vijay today squarely blamed the M K Stalin-led DMK government for the ongoing farmers' distress, warning that a rising tide of resentment could "send the government packing home." Breaking his month-long silence following the September 27 stampede tragedy at his Karur rally, Vijay, in a statement, charged the government with being directly responsible for the damage and destruction of harvested paddy, which was left drenched at procurement centres across the Cauvery delta districts and elsewhere.
