Mumbai, October 27: How many bank holidays are there in November 2025? When will banks remain closed in November? If you're looking for answers to such questions and want to know more about bank holidays in the upcoming month, then we have got you covered. In November 2025, banks will stay shut for business for a total of 11 days. According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday list for November, the 11 days of bank holidays also include regional festivals, the second and fourth Saturdays and all Sundays of the month. As per the RBI bank holiday list, banks will remain closed on Saturday, November 1, for Kannada Rajyothsava and Igas-Bagwal. Notably, banks will observe closure in Bengaluru and Dehradun only, with physical banking remaining open across all other cities in India on that day. The next designated bank holiday is on Wednesday, November 5, when banks will stay shut for Guru Nanak Jayanti, Kartika Purnima and Rahas Purnima. Gazetted Holidays 2025 Full Calendar: Check Public and Bank Holiday Dates for Central and Government Office in India. The November 5 bank holiday applies to Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla and Srinagar. RBI has declared Friday, November 7, as a bank holiday in Shillong for the Wangala Festival. The last designated bank holiday is on Saturday, November 8, for the Kanakadasa Jayanthi, which will be celebrated in Bengaluru. In addition to these RBI-designated holidays, banks will also stay shut for business on November 8 and November 22 on account of the second and fourth Saturdays of the month and on November 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 on account of weekend holiday (Sundays). Customers must remember that banks remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month and all Sundays nationwide unless the RBI or local branches of respective banks reverse the holiday.
